Since it turned out that teaching your
grandmother to suck eggs wont be succesfull this year, Easter 2001 one
simply cant help to think of another problem of public interest:
Is it possible
to look at the egg as representing
a special type
of cosmic sphere or is a sphere just the
ideal of beauty
of the apparently imperfect average – egg ?
The discovery of the latest egg , unexpectedly
found in Leipzig, Rietschelstrasse, provides us with new evidence
that both
theories cannot simply be dismissed.
The egg shows exactly the first 2345 digits of the circlenumber PI , delicately
carved on the eggs´ surface....
That this egg was not destined
to satisfy primitive oral craving is to be taken for granted by the mosaic
mat found next to the egg. The mosaic mat, not surprisingly depicting PI,
obviously functions as a minimalistic prayer mat which is likely to prevent
the aforementioned egg from falling a victim to the despicable sacrificial
custom...
